Several common methods of agricultural machinery parts repair you should know

1、 Replacement of parts method

When the parts are seriously damaged, or the repair is difficult and the cost is too high, and there are spare parts available, new parts can be replaced. Replacement method, commonly used in busy season repair damaged machinery.

2、 Adjustment transposition method

1. Adjustment method: make up for the wear of parts by adding or decreasing gaskets or adjusting screws. For example, the clearance of worn tapered roller bearings can be adjusted by adding or decreasing gaskets; the tensioning sprocket of worn chain drive can be tensioned by screwing in or out the adjusting screw pin.

2. Transposition method: change the worn parts to a position or direction, and use the non worn parts to continue working. For example, tractor tires can be regularly changed to continue to use.

3、 Partial replacement method

The local replacement repair method is to remove the damaged or worn parts of the parts, and connect the remanufactured new parts with the old parts by welding, riveting or other methods, so that the parts can continue to be used. If the individual blade of the harvester is blunt or broken, a new blade can be riveted.

4、 Repair dimension method

If the matching wear of engine crankshaft and bearing bush, the crankshaft journal can be ground to a certain repair size, and the bearing bush with corresponding larger repair size can be replaced. This method can prolong the service life of valuable parts, with high repair quality and simple process.

5、 Common repair methods of thread hole slip fastener

1. Tapping large screw thread method: for some shell structures with allowable structural conditions, the method of tapping large screw thread can be adopted. For example, if the sliding thread of the air inlet and exhaust bolt is fixed on the engine body, the thread of the sliding thread can be drilled out first, and then the screw thread is properly tapped to prepare the thickened bolt.
